The violinmakers and bowmakers at Carriage House Violins have trained at the finest violin making schools and in the most prestigious workshops in Europe and America. Whether the task at hand is the painstaking restoration of a historically significant instrument or the routine repair of a student's first violin, our craftsmen spend whatever time is needed to do their finest work. Our violinmakers work together with the workshop staff at Reuning & Son Violins in one of the most respected workshops in North America. Our staff view themselves as caretakers of each instrument to comes across their bench. We pride ourselves on using innovative repair techniques, minimally invasive restoration and our superb tonal adjustments.

Instrument repairs, tonal adjustments, bow repair and rehair services are available by appointment.* *Carriage House Violins reserves our workshop’s time first for the service and repair of the instruments we have previously sold. We regret that our schedule does not usually allow for restoration of instruments we have not previously sold.
