Matteo Gofriller was the first important violin maker in Venice. Prior to Montagnana’s arrival, Gofriller single handedly took care of the bulk of the instrument-making duties in that busy city, making violins in a number of different styles to meet the unique specifications of each player.
We are offering this lovely early example, which is slightly smaller than full size. It will provide a wonderful opportunity for the petite player to acquire a fine violin more than equal to its many regular-sized cousins.
