Gaetano Gadda both studied with and worked alongside the great Stefano Scarampella and is considered Scarampella’s only true pupil and heir.
We have made a special effort over the past two decades to seek out violins by both these makers whose individual workmanship and quality harken back to an earlier Italian style of work.
This violin, typical of the period, reflects the powerful influence of Gadda’s master and is a superb instrument whose sound far outweighs its price.
