Christo Wood is a superbly talented craftsman who fashions fine instruments from his workshop in Boston’s Hyde Park. After he completed studies at the North Bennet Street School, Christopher Reuning offered him a position at Carriage House Violins where he remained until 2010. During his time with us, he perfected his skills at the bench while researching instrument acoustics.
This cello is modeled after a smaller model by G.B. Guadagnini and offers a petite performer improved playability while making no sacrifice in sound.
